Dear Parent’s/ Guardians,
A very big thank you for your fantastic efforts in working alongside the Teachers, Sna’s and Pupils since the re-commencement of our online learning two weeks ago.
The response and engagement from families has been outstanding. We as teachers are aware of the challenges society is facing presently, however despite this the parent & student body of Scoil Mhuire Lacken prevailed with very high engagement numbers in each of the online classrooms on a daily basis.
The content of the work being returned to teachers is evident of the hard work and high standards of our pupils in Scoil Mhuire. Resulting from this, teachers have added a fun and engaging aspect to their online classrooms, with visual storybooks being read aloud by class teachers, classroom challenges, STEAM Projects, Lego challenges, History/ Geography projects & exciting PE/ Art activities.

Well  done to our teachers, Sna's and  pupils for embracing this  period of remote learning.

During Remote Learning -  classes  came together on  Zoom.

Some of our  students engaged in  Zoom calls with their  class teachers &  peers this week.  It was  a very positive  experience for  both the  staff &   children as this enabled them to interact  and  engage with other over this virtual  platform. Lots of fun has  had my all!
Many thanks to all  families who facilitated this with the children.
We look  forward to  this   weekly zoom  call  during the   course of our remote learning/  teaching.
