Our Mission Statement. 

Scoil  Mhuire Laken, is a Catholic School located  outside Ballinagh in Co.  Cavan. Our school  strives to promote Christian Values of : to Love God and Love one another. We are an integral part of the community of Lacken, and in partnership  with parents, the Church and the wider school  community. We aim to nurture and develop Christian values  through participation in the "Grow in Love Programme", providing  opportunities for prayer and Sacramental  Preparation. 

Here at Scoil  Mhuire Lacken, we aim to foster and develop each student in all dimensions of their life in terms of Moral, Cognitive, Physical, Social, Spiritual, Imaginative and  Aesthetically.

We as a staff   strive to  develop and encourage pupils to  draw on  their strengths/  gifts to  achieve their  full potential.
