The men and women of Cavan GAA have given us lots to celebrate this year. We have had a visit from 2 cups which the ladies won and we had a blue day to celebrate Cavan becoming Ulster Champions 2020. Well done to all involved. We are so proud of you all!
We were all so excited for this years Late Late Toy Show. We decided to hold our own toy show by showing a picture of our favourite toy and telling the class what it could do and why we liked it. We called it the Early Early Toy Show! We had so much fun!
This week, we were very excited to receive our lovely new hi-vis jackets as part of road safety week. We also learned the safe cross code dance.
On Friday 13th November, we celebrated world kindness day. We looked at the importance of being kind to each other and we each created a heart with what we thought it meant to be kind inside. We decorated some kind hands and displayed them in the corridor for everyone to see.
During the month of November we remember in a special way those who have died. For any person the death of a family member or friend can be a moment of great change. The price we pay for loving someone is the grief we experience after their death. In class, we created a lovely display to honour our loved ones who have gone to heaven. |
