5th and 6th class had a great time working with an artist during the month of January. They used paints to create Jelly prints, cut and designed paper feathers and used left over paper to create collage houses as shown in the photographs.
Before the Sixth class students finish Scoil Mhuire Lacken, some of the Cavan County Footballers have messages for them as they embark on their Secondary School Journey!
First up we have Raymond Galligan, a former student of Scoil Mhuire Lacken and a dedicated Cavan Senior Squad Goalkeeper. Here's what he has to say to the 6th class students.
Next we have Dara Mc Veety, who sent this video message all the way from Australia to our sixth class. Dara is the former captain of the Cavan squad.
Next, we have Killian Brady, who put all the local rivalries between Mullahoran & Lacken aside to send this message to the class!
Lastly, we have Niall Murray a Cavan Gaels and Cavan footballer who also took the time to wish our sixth class well. Here's what Niall had to say!
Many thanks to Raymond, Dara, Killian & Niall for taking the time to speak to the 6th class of Scoil Mhuire Lacken. I have no doubt that many of the children from the class will be back following you all in Breffni in the coming months.
