It gives  me great  pleasure to  welcome you, to  Scoil  Mhuire  Lacken’s website, which I  hope  will provide you  with an insight into the ethos,  culture and fantastic  work that  staff  and students alike carry out here in our school.

Scoil  Mhuire is  a  DEIS ( Delivering Equality of Opportunity in Schools) ,  Co-educational Catholic  mixed Primary School  under the patronage of  the Bishop  of  Kilmore, with a  teaching staff of  Seven mainstream teachers and one Special Needs  Assistant.

 Our primary  aim  is to nurture and  enhance  a happy, friendly, secure, welcoming  Educational environment where every child  is treated as an individual and their opinions and  work is  valued.   Staff, Students, Board of  Management and Parents strive to achieve a   centre of  excellence for Educational achievement , Well being  and Personal  Growth. We  encourage all  students to aspire to  achieve their full  potential.
